Chicken breast + fresh tomatoes + sweetcorn + onion + garlic + pasta + cheddar. Small chicken slices worked well. Made too much — leftovers. Needed a tin of chopped tomatoes for proper sauce body. Fresh tomatoes didn't burst — cut them smaller next time or use cherry tomatoes. Tomato puree was off so skipped it. Stock up: chopped tomatoes, oil, tomato puree.

Chicken breast + pak choi + asparagus + bell pepper + egg noodles + soy sauce + Lao Gan Ma. Chicken was fine but cut it smaller next time — thin strips. Didn't take chicken out before adding veg, liquid pooled from chicken (pan not hot enough). Let liquid boil off, added soy + Lao Gan Ma at end — good flavour. Next time: hotter pan, dry chicken first, cook chicken separately, use vegetable oil not olive oil. Sesame oil drizzle at end would help.

Hake instead of cod — worked well, good flavour with fish sauce + asparagus + pak choi. Needs more bulk though, not enough food even with microwave rice. Consider adding potatoes, more veg, or a second side next time.

Bacon lardons not good in traybake - go chewy not crispy. Need a more substantial protein. Should have fried lardons separately or used as addition not main protein. Frozen veg mix worked fine. Tomato sauce was okay but thin.
